Cycling in the busy streets of Athens might sound crazy concept at first but it is surprisingly doable and beautiful. Athens does have a thriving bike community and even though the center of Athens lacks a proper bike lane, the abundance of pedestrian roads around Acropolis and most of the ancient sights is more than enough for us, cyclists, to move freely.
Join one of our guides who will share with you his/her favourite spots around the city center. We’ll cycle next to ancient sights like the ancient Agora and the Olympic Stadium, through the National gardens and the hill of the Nymphs and many, many more.
The pace of the tour is very relaxed and any level of cyclist can handle it with ease. We take a lot of breaks, talk about what interests and moves us and generally learn how to move around the city center of the largest city in Greece with confidence and grace.
We know, that there’s no better way to know the city in such a short amount of time, than doing this bike tour with us.

N.B. Athens is well known for its chaotic traffic, dominated by impatient car drivers. Pedestrians and cyclists, therefore, need to take a number of precautions. Although the routes we take are 100% safe, the center of Athens does not have specially designed bike lanes, such as we find in many other metropolitan cities. We will be cycling and walking, as conditions allow, mostly in pedestrian-friendly areas, while one of the pedestrianized roads is surely among the finest in the world, under the shadow of the Acropolis.
